Sport Performance and Mental Training

We all, athlete or not, would like to perform at the highest level as often as possible.

Many times, giving our best is good, but other times it comes short of performing at our best.

Depending on our skills, experience, talent, and mindset, we are a capable of reaching higher levels. That means at the higher level possible for each person, with consistency of quality and reaching objectives. It also means having robust resilience for success.

That is the purpose of elevating our mental training.

The AthleteMindset Program

Our AthleteMindset program seeks to provide you with a solid foundation of support and skills training that is simple, valuable, and powerful to develop and sustain the whole person (student, athlete, player).

The program is tailored to individual needs and if desired, can continue for longer. It provides the understanding and application of evidence-based tools to improve one’s level of talent and abilities.

Sample program overview:

–       Sessions: first three sessions once a week and the last three sessions twice-a-month

–       Phase 1 (first three sessions): Discovery and utilization of best qualities and strengths (VIA survey, sport performance activities, mindfulness concept)

–       Phase 2 (remaining three sessions): Qualities engagement, personal style in strengthening performance level (for try-outs, training, games, meetings, etc.)

–       Program Foundation and Concept: Mental Training Skills Development for Sport Performance and Mindfulness

A minimum of six (6) sessions is recommended after the first introduction session.

Despite coaches’ conclusions that mental strength is the most important part of one’s performance, we fail to train it enough or not at all.

No, it is not the same as mental toughness acquired through hard and exhausting drills. Neither it is used only at crucial moments of the performance.

Mental training consistency produces a stronger mindset. Athlete Mindset.
